World War 2 Veteran Pilot Doug Tidy Shows His Support for BNP.

One of the last of the Few, World War II Spitfire pilot Squadron Commander Doug Tidy has publicly announced his membership of and support for the British National Party.

I was proud to have fought for this nation during World War II and by joining the BNP, I am still fighting for the freedom and identity of the British people, Commander Tidy said.

Speaking at the latest BNPs Battle for Britain road show held in the South West last night, Commander Tidy confirmed that he was now one of three World War II Spitfire pilots who had joined the BNP.

BNP leader Nick Griffin expressed his thanks for the expression of support, saying that it was the sacrifice and bravery of men like Commander Tidy who serve as the inspiration for the modern BNPs struggle.

We are proud to have men of the stature of Commander Tidy in our ranks, Mr Griffin said. Our efforts to keep Britain British are enhanced and given strength by the support of men like him who have put their lives on the line to protect this nation.

The highly successful Battle for Britain road show raised more than £4,000 last night in Exeter. The very considerable amount will help our number one candidate for the South West Region, Jeremy Wotherspoon, to eventually take his seat alongside Nick Griffin and the other successful BNP Members of the European Parliament, said Mr Peter Mullins, south west regional organiser.
