Ladies and Gentlemen, Poles, and Fellow Europeans

On the initiative of entrepreneurs, patriotic circles and Polish intelligentsia, as well as the common citizens, on 12th January 2008 in Krakow we established the Committee: EUROPE OF FREE FATHERLANDS -- POLISH ACTION that adopted as its motto the provisions of the Tyniec Declaration dated 13th December 2007. On this particular day, the leading European politicians, including high rank representatives of the Republic of Poland, signed the Lisbon Treaty being in fact the new European constitution. As EFF -- Polish Action, we believe that so important issue for the future of Polish nation as resignation from sovereignty by Poland in favor of the new super-state -- the European Union should be decided solely by the sovereign -- the Polish Nation -- in an all-Polish referendum.

1. Do you want the Constitution of the Republic of Poland cease to be the binding and supreme source of legislation in Poland?
We do not want this!

2. Do you want that in the nearest future so-called "expelled" or their heirs deprive us of our land in the Silesia and Pomerania before the European tribunals?
We do not want this!

3. Do you believe that in this historical moment the sole sovereign in Poland -- the Polish Nation -- ought to decide in the matter of the Lisbon Treaty in the all-Polish referendum?
We do believe this!

Are you in favor of the national referendum in this matter?
We want referendum to be convoked!

We stand on the side of democracy in Poland. We fight for our freedom and for your freedom in entire Europe!

Operations of the citizens' committee EFF -- Polish Action as well as of other committees and organizations resulted in so enormous pressure upon the politicians in Poland that the process of ratification of the Lisbon Treaty has been stopped in Polish Parliament. We are striving to organize the referendum in the matter of Treaty at all cost.

At the same time, we appeal to the Ombudsman - Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection of the Republic of Poland calling him to file a petition to the Constitutional tribunal because the Lisbon Treaty violates the Constitution of the Republic of Poland.
I am asking all of you to support this citizens' initiative in Poland and in entire Europe. Everybody willing to contribute to this initiative may contact our regional coordinators.

You can download and print a support list to collect signatures on the petition in favor of the referendum addressed to the Speaker of Polish Parliament.
