Another scribbly stick-figure movie. Not at all funny, this one, except for the one short cameo of xkcd's Hatman's hat. (http://xkcd.com). I did this one in one night (in stead of being unable to sleep for weeks) and I kinda like the result.
It's arty. It's crap, of course, but it has an arty ambience. It's not supposed to feel good, it's supposed to feel wrenched. Troubling. I hope it does.
The song's about a girl (isn't it always?). A specific girl I really don't know, of whom I'd love a good day of toying around of. Like the way cats toy with mice. I'd rather be the mouse, really.
Nah, not really. I'd rather be another cat, but it's better than nothing, I guess. It's a bit of a desperate song, actually.
All music is recorded in three tracks, once for the vocals, and two times my old acoustic guitar. Yes, the bass is really just a electronically modified acoustic guitar. I'm not really good at playing bass, to be honest.
To nevertheless choose the bassline as the basic for the whole song was a deliberate choice. I hope it turned out well. I always wanted to do this, and if people like it, I'll continue using bass lines from now on.
I'm not sure if xkcd's Hatman is copyrighted. I guess not. And anyway, I only used the hat. You can't copyright a hat, can you?
