OK, we are going to begin with the single most important theory for making money with network marketing. This is the way most of the entrepreneurs I mentioned earlier did it. But they did it without the short-cuts you're going to get. When they did it, our site didn't exist. It wasn't an option. They had to go through all the hoops that we have already done for you. Duplicate Your Success The Better Way! I have been studying both network marketing and internet marketing for some time now. I have found they have a lot of commonalities. Two of the notable ones are that they each sell a product and they each have ways for others to make money by referring others to the product. Now, internet marketing uses the term “affiliate” or “affiliate marketing” where network marketing uses “distributor” or “independent distributor”. But they are essentially the same thing. Internet marketing has grown in just a few short years to be one of the hottest ways to make money on the internet. There are literally hundreds of internet marketing millionaires. All of them are doing the same things as network marketers are doing with only a couple of notable differences. Internet marketers have learned how to market using the internet almost exclusively. Whereas, network marketers have spent most of their time advertising the old fashion way, ‘word of mouth’. Internet marketers rarely have to ship their products to their customers. They market eBooks and software. This allows them to market the opportunity much faster than in network marketing. Network marketers have to wait for products to ship to their customers. And that means additional time waiting for the customer to “see” the benefit of joining the opportunity. Duplicate Your Success Enter Viral Marketing One of the newest and hottest tactics of internet marketing today is – Viral Marketing. Viral marketing was developed to increase the effectiveness of building the internet marketers list. In internet marketing, the list is how they make money. When you look at the basic model of viral marketing you can see why it is so effective. It is a time-proven model of marketing that has been used by the network marketing industry since its beginnings. Viral Marketing is “word of mouth” marketing! The main difference is that an internet marketer uses the internet to spread the “word”. Via the forums, blogs, discussion groups, etc. found by the hundreds or even thousands on the web, an internet marketer can reach out and get his/her message to millions within minutes. The savvy internet marketer can write or have written a little eBook that explains to potential customers why they need to buy their “Offer”. They can then give that eBook away to others as an incentive to join the marketers ‘list’. By itself, it is a very effective way to attract new customers to their list. But that is only half of the story. There now comes along a new technology to increase this eBooks effectiveness. That technology allows those that receive it to “rebrand” the links within the eBook with their own “affiliate” information. Creating the multiple generation marketing tactic. This works to the internet marketers advantage because, now he has many more people advertising his list for him. The book you are now reading was developed using the same tactic of viral marketing as that used by internet marketers. The difference comes from how you utilize the links embedded within the book. At the top and bottom of each page of this book are links. They are links that can be rebranded by the reader with his or her links. Ordinarily, the reader would purchase the product then sign up as an affiliate and change the link to his/her affiliate link. Then they would begin giving the eBook away to others, continuing the cycle. In this case, the reader will be prompted to purchase the product, join the network marketing company as an “independent distributor”, and change the appropriate link. Then as before, they will begin giving the eBook away to others. As you can see, the only real change was the terminology. In both cases, the reader would purchase the product. Now, when this tactic was first created, the rebranding and giving away process required more than a little bit of computer savvy. The reader would have to rebrand the eBook with an enclosed rebrander program. Then they had to host the giveaway page (otherwise known as a squeeze page). They would also have to set up an autoresponder account to collect the customer’s information. A very time consuming process, one that many people would not attempt. By now you are likely wondering, with all the network marketing companies out there, which one to choose. And yes, you should only be choosing ONE to start with. The reason is that it is very difficult to manage more than one opportunity at time. Think of it this way, you start up two opportunities and they both start growing. They both are in different markets. Let’s say you get in a rush one day and send out a message to group A that should of went to group B. How confused will group A be upon receiving this message from you that has nothing to do with their market? And even more troubling is later that day you check with group B and find they never got your message. Sounds hard to believe, but it does happen. And in that scenario, you could have lost a great many of your people from group A and lost a very lucrative opportunity with group B. So, on to choosing your opportunity… All I can say about how to choose the right network marketing company is that there is no perfect choice out there. What is perfect for me, might not be perfect for you. Choosing a company is personal. It is based on things like: the product, the company image, the compensation plan, etc. If I were to analyze every network marketing company out there, this book would be 100s of thousands of pages long and would likely take longer to write than some network marketing companies exist.
