Creator of America's Next Top Model, Tyra Banks was left shocked and concerned after the latest auditions for the show left six people injured and three under arrest.
The thirteenth series of the US reality show saw thousands of models queuing outside a Manhattan Hotel in New York when chaos commenced.
Although the official cause has not yet been stated, the main rumors involve a handbag thief and somebody announcing that there was a bomb at the location creating a bomb scare.
A black car at the front of a line of traffic can be seen with steam coming from the hood which may have caused the scare.
Regardless of what caused the panic, a stampede ensued, resulting in models abandoning clothes and shoes as they tried to escape the area.
Alongside the shows producer Ken Mok, Tyra said:
"We are concerned by the events that occurred Saturday afternoon on the vicinity of the New York City casting call for the next cycle of "America's Next top Model.
At this time we still do not know all the details of what happened or what triggered the incident. We appreciate the efforts of the NYPD and will assist them in any way possible in this matter."
Although six were injured in the confusion, only two were taken to hospital for treatment according to the New York fire department.
