She is a multiple Golden Globe and Emmy-winning actress most commonly recognized for her role as Dr. Quinn in Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and more recently in Wedding Crashers. In 2002, Jane wrote an autobiographical book, Remarkable Changes, profiling her own and 20 personal stories of others who have experienced positive transformation in the face of life-changing crisis. After this time, Jane began painting open hearts, specifically abstract images of hearts. Her talents as an artist have raised much-needed funds for local and national charities in need through her one-woman art shows throughout the years. A new door opened in 2007 when Jane appeared on Dancing with the Stars. She created an open-heart pendant that she wore for luck while competing on the program. This launched her new career as a jewelry designer.
