Ryan Reser (USA) throws Leandro Guilheiro (BRA) with an amazing te-guruma/ura-nage (very hard to classify) counter for ippon.
The throw started on the edge of the fighting area and went outside. Under the new dynamic-edge rules this is a valid action and thus referee William Rosquet (CUB) was right to validate Reser's perfect scoring and dismiss the corner judge that was signaling an out-of-bounds action.
My initial reaction, caught here on tape :-), was to call the judge many names since I wasn't aware of the new rule called "Dynamic Edge" which made this a valid throw.
The older comments will reflect that feeling, but now that I was corrected in my judgment, I hope the comments will focus on Reser's fantastic counter throw rather than on my wrong reaction towards the judge.
Keep up judo!
