Now that Adobe has announced the exciting release of Creative Suite 4, Wiley is offering 30 titles to help users— from novices to seasoned pros—get up to speed on everything this popular graphic and Web design software suite has to offer.
Wiley proudly presents 30 Adobe CS4 books on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and Dreamweaver that will will assist users at all skill levels through a variety of learning approaches. New editions in the popular For Dummies, Visual, and Bible series, as well as two new series— Digital Classroom and After the Shoot—round out an all-star line-up of books. To support Wiley’s publishing plan, marketing will focus promotional efforts online via the Wiley Design Challenge micro-site. The goals of the Web site include generating exposure and sales for Wiley’s Adobe CS4 books, encouraging participation from the design community, and driving traffic to retailers to purchase books. Advertising on related Web sites, blogs, and social media outlets will drive traffic to the site, as will e-mail blast deployment and user group outreach.

Wiley Design Challenge Micro-Site:
The Wiley Design Challenge Web site (www. wileydesignchallenge.com) is the destination for designers to submit their artwork for a chance to win prizes! One design challenge a month will be offered starting in October and running through December. October’s “Design a Wiley Cover” contest allows artists to submit cover designs for Sybex’s Photoshop For Right Brainers: The Art of Photomanipulation, 3rd Edition. Prizes also include cash and books. Judges will include Wiley employees, author Al Ward, and industry luminaries. The Online Gallery allows anyone to view, vote, and comment on a submission, and the “Buy the Books” area provides more information about Wiley’s Adobe CS4 titles, and links users to a retailer’s Web site for purchase.
